A giant elephant has been seen attacking lion cubs in the latest wildlife footage. Maasai Sightings posted footage and said the encounter took place in the Maasai Mara.

“Female lionesses leave the pride to give birth to their cubs and do not return until the cubs are several weeks old. Adult females then join together to raise and protect the cubs. Solitude During this period, the lioness and her cubs are very vulnerable to predators and larger prey like hippos, buffalo and, like this scene, elephants,” he captioned the video.
