A woman is being hailed as a hero in China after making an incredible leap to save a baby’s life. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras in Changsha, the capital and largest city of China’s Hunan province.
CCTV footage showed a girl child, believed to be his niece, nearly falling onto the poured concrete when her stroller overturned. Meanwhile, the woman, who was taking a leisurely walk in the yard, saw the child walking towards the shore.
She immediately ran and ran towards the stroller with her arms outstretched. Just as the child was about to hit the concrete, the woman caught him in her arms. The girl narrowly escaped and the woman kept lying on the ground.
The video ends with the rest of the family rushing to see the baby as the woman continues to lie on the floor. Another person also helped the woman get up while others made sure the child was okay.
