Watch: Yash Raj Mukhate recreates ‘Besharam Rang’ as a 60s song based on Shammi Kapoor

Shahrukh Khan’s latest release Pathan is breaking all the box office records – Once a day. In India the film has managed to earn Rs 448.25 crore within 17 days of its release. Social media is flooded with videos of social media influencers and fans recreating and dancing to the song from the film. Recently, social media sensation and music producer Yashraj Mukhate played a hilarious version of ‘shameless color’ Set in the 60s.

Known for creating quirky and funny remixes, Mr Mukhate posted a funny video on his Instagram handle. He imagined what the song would sound like if it was made in the 60s. He wrote “Sorry” in the caption and tagged Vishal and Shekhar.

The video begins with the music producer describing how the song would sound if recorded in the 60s. Mr. Mukhate revealed that he was inspired by actor Ketan Singh to compose. The clip features Shammi Kapoor with a slow and sad version of the song playing in the background.

The video has already garnered 1.4 million views on Instagram and triggered a series of hilarious reactions. Music composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani also reacted to the video. While Shekhar Ravjiani wrote, “Hahahahahaha…brilliant!”, Vishal Dadlani dropped a laughing emoji.

One user commented, “Now take a 60s song and make a full fadu like Besharam Rang song.”

Another user wrote, “Sounds like one of Mohammed Rafi’s songs.”

The third user commented, “Said music can completely change the vibe and the way we feel about a song.”
