WATCH: YouTuber builds 8-foot fully functional iPhone, takes it with…

The YouTuber reiterates the design of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

A YouTuber caused a stir online after posting a video of a fully functional giant iPhone that he built from scratch. The model of Apple’s most expensive phone iPhone 14 Pro Max is surprisingly 8 feet. YouTuber Matthew Beam put the phone in a car and took it around the streets of New York City to show off its features. The device’s display is modeled using the touch-enabled screen of the television, which is connected to the Mac mini. Mr. Beam has also added volume buttons and buttons for music to his wonderful creation.

In a YouTube video posted on his channel, Mr. Beam shares the process of building such a massive iPhone. He begins building a sturdy metal frame that will serve as the foundation for the massive device.

The YouTuber then replicates the design of the iPhone, giving the surface of his device a matte finish, to reflect light, and feature functional buttons.

Mr Beam and his team focused on the display, adding a laser to it to give the device a sense of realism.

The Mac Mini allows the device to run the same applications that are commonly used on iPhones. And it also offers a smooth user experience despite its massive size.

The massive phone also packs cameras, including a front-facing camera for selfies. But Mr. Beam has shown how difficult it is to take a selfie on his device. When he jumped to register himself in the frame, he asked one of his companions to tap the camera button.

Mr. Beam’s effort has led him to break the existing record held by another YouTuber named ZHC, who made a 6-foot iPhone in 2020.
