WBCHSE will conduct WB HS Board Exam 2023 from March 14

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has recently announced the HS or Class 12 Exam 2023. As per the recently released schedule, the HS or Class 12 exams will start from March 14 to March 27, 2023.

For the upcoming exams, WBCHSE has also announced changes. The board has announced that this year unlike last year, the exam will be conducted on the basis of the whole syllabus. Last year Board Exam Syllabus due to COVID-19 Pandemic. reduced by 30 percent. This year the board will no longer conduct the exam on the basis of rational syllabus, which means the student will have to study the entire syllabus instead of 30 percent less syllabus. Also, students will get different exam centers, this year HS exam was conducted in home centers.

WBCHSE Chairman Chiranjeeb Bhattacharya announced the class 12 exam schedule during a press conference. Bhattacharya said, “In 2023, the HS exam will be conducted from March 14 to 27. The exams will be conducted on the full syllabus and they will be conducted at external exam centers and not at home venues which were similar this year.”

Earlier, speaking to News18, Dr Chiranjeeb Bhattacharya had said, “Due to the extraordinary situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, home center examinations were allowed this year. “However, from next year we will Go back to the old system of offline exams Where students will not be allowed to attend from home centres. Next year the Higher Secondary Examination will be held from March 14 to March 27.

Recently the West Bengal Board had announced the HS Result 2022. This year, the overall pass percentage in HS exam was 88.44 percent. According to official figures, a total of 6.36 lakh (6,36,875) students have cleared the HS exam this year. Boys have outperformed girls; The pass percentage of boys was 90.19 percent, while that of girls was 86.58 percent.

A total of 272 students made it to the merit list; Adisha Debsharma is the HS exam topper with 498 marks (99.6) percentile. Sayanddeep Samant has secured the second position with 497 marks. A total of four students have secured the third position this year with 496 marks. In WB 12th HS Result 2022 4,97,809 students have scored more than 60 percentile.
