Jurgen Klopp shattered hearts, not just of Liverpool fans but fans of football alike, with his announcement that he will be stepping down from his role as manager of Liverpool at the end of the current season.

There’s only one way to say goodbye to Jurgen Klopp: by hoisting him up to the highest peak of the footballing world they can possibly reach, and letting him exit at the very top. And that is exactly what Liverpool and their players plan on doing so, says young defender Conor Bradley.

Jurgen Klopp shattered hearts, not just of Liverpool fans but fans of football alike, with his announcement that he will be stepping down from his role as manager of Liverpool at the end of the current season.

In an emotional interview for the club in January, Klopp broke the news.

“I will leave the club at the end of the season. I can understand that that’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment, when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it – or at least try to explain it,” Klopp stated.

The decorated German is the man behind the rejuvenation of the Reds in recent years, leading them to multiple trophies in his eight-and-a-half-year tenure as of now, most importantly clinching them the Champions League yet again and the coveted Premier League trophy for the first time ever in the history of the club.

League Cup winners Liverpool reached the Europa League quarter-finals with an 11-1 aggregate victory over the Czech side. They are also level on points with Premier League leaders Arsenal and have reached the FA Cup quarter-finals.

“He’s been the only manager I’ve known at this club, so for him to be leaving is sad,” 20-year-old Bradley told TNT Sports.

“We just want to win every trophy we can for him and give him the best send-off we can.”

Liverpool will not take on Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday next as they would be aching to get one up on their fierce rivals, especially after their fairly disappointing showing against the Red Devils last time, when they were held to a draw.
