We will speak against wrongdoings of the government: Ayana

“We will speak out against all the wrongdoing and injustice done by the state government and no one can stop us. We are in opposition, and the Constitution has given us the right to speak,” former TDP minister Ch. Ayyana Patrudu.

In a recent meeting in Guntur, YSR Congress Party workers led by Narsipatnam MLA P. Uma Shankar Ganesh tried to stage a protest near Mr. Patrudu’s house, in protest against certain comments made by a former TDP minister. A video was released later on Saturday night. .

“They (YSRCP) can protest and get us arrested, but we are not scared or scared of such acts. If we find that things are going in the wrong direction, we will continue to speak against the government.”

The former TDP minister said the government was falling into a debt trap only for its welfare schemes. “What is needed. The wind is changing and intellectuals are also questioning the administration of the government, which is pushing the state to the brink,” he said.

According to Mr Patrudu, the government was now in fear, as the negative trend against YSRCP was increasing and that is why they were involved in such coercive tactics against the opposition and dissent.

Commenting on the statements made against him by R&B Minister Dharmana Krishna Das, he said, “It is very clear that he was compelled to speak, as there is a threat to his ministerial position. Shri Krishna Das is a very Belongs to good and educated family and he never speaks in this tone and spirit or uses such language,” he said.

According to Mr Patrudu, on one hand Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy was trying to show his generosity by showering welfare schemes and on the other he was extorting taxes, inflated electricity charges and fines from the common man.

Clarifying his comments made in Guntur, he said, “There is a recording of every word I said in the meeting. I challenge the YSRCP leaders to prove that I was abusive. Yes I called the CM ‘Tughlaq’. , what is wrong with that. History proves that Muhammad bin Tughlaq tried to shift his capital and paid the price. It is the same here.”
