Welfare schemes should be implemented across the country in the spirit of Telangana: KCR

KCR said that many schemes are being implemented for the development of Dalits in Telangana and it is necessary to implement them all over the country with the same spirit of Telangana.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the welfare schemes being implemented in the state should be implemented across the country.

A Tamil Nadu MP BRS, a Dalit leader and Viduthalai Chiruthigal Katchi (VCK) party chief Thirumavalavan and leaders of various states called on the Chief Minister at Pragati Bhavan on Thursday at the launch of Bharat Rashtra Samiti.

KCR said that many schemes are being implemented for the development of Dalits in Telangana and it is necessary to implement them all over the country with the same spirit of Telangana.

Thirumavalavan said that he came to know about the various welfare schemes launched by the Telangana government for Dalits and appreciated the Telangana government for launching various schemes for Dalit empowerment.

“No state in the country is implementing welfare schemes like Telangana. I really appreciate the state government and KCR for implementing such a big scheme ‘Dalit Bandhu’. Definitely, it helps in real empowerment of Dalits,” Thirumavalavan said.

Farmers union leaders from different states Rakesh Rafique, Akshay (Odisha), senior journalist Vineet Narayan (Delhi), United Kisan Morcha leader Gurnam Singh (Haryana), Maharashtra farmer leader Dashrath Sawant and others met KCR on Thursday.
