BENGALURU: Logistics solutions provider Ecom Express has leased about 4 lakh square feet of warehousing space from Welspun One Logistics Park (WOLP) in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and Bhiwandi and Farukhnagar in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Ecom Express has taken place in both the parks for nine years, which is expected to be operational by the end of this year.
“The current situation has brought about a dramatic and lasting change in consumer behaviour, with the preference for shopping towards online retail and a further spurt in demand for logistics infrastructure. The expansion of the e-commerce sector has been a major growth driver for the growth in the demand for warehousing space across the country. WOLP said it wants to take advantage of this demand and provide sustainable and technologically advanced solutions for companies to conduct their warehousing operations seamlessly.
