In this age of technology almost everything is at hand. From people using online platforms to search for jobs to people right-swiping on dating apps to find a partner, there is hardly anything that cannot be accessed on the internet. But, isn’t it too early for these platforms to exchange their roles? Probably not! A man recently shared how he landed a job interview on a dating app and Twitter couldn’t stop pulling his leg.

A man named Adnan shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with someone on the popular dating app Bumble on the micro-blogging site. His conversation began with another person (probably a woman) who told him that she was in Human Resources and currently working in the talent acquisition department of a startup. Without missing the opportunity, Adnan quickly replied that he was pursuing a master’s in electrical and computer engineering and asked her if she could help him get a job at a startup she was working with.

Much to everyone’s surprise, the lady didn’t get angry but inquired about the job she was interested in and asked if she was graduating this year. Adnan posted excerpts of their conversation on Twitter and wrote, “You use LinkedIn for jobs I use Bumble, we are not alike bro”

Undoubtedly, netizens had a good laugh at it as one of them commented, “Bhai Harzone ho gaye” while another quipped, “Long back there was a meme that said, if you are Indian enough then any app There is Tinder. I think our priorities have changed in this era of layoffs.” Some also pointed out how it did justice to people asking on LinkedIn, which has been called a “business and employment-focused social media platform”.

One user wrote, “IMO you are doing God’s work balancing LinkedIn flirting recruiters on Bumble.” Meanwhile, Adnan revealed that he has set interview date for the job in that startup and said, “I am interviewing here, just finalizing the dates.”
