Voting has started for the Panchayat elections in West Bengal. About five crore votes will be cast in these elections. Today, representatives will be elected for about nine hundred and twenty eight posts of nine thousand seven hundred and thirty panchayat maths and sixty three thousand two hundred and twenty nine village panchayats in twenty two district councils.
