West Bengal: TMC, BJP supporters scuffle during 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Bhatpara. Kolkata News – Times of India

Bhatpara: A scuffle broke out between the two Trinamool Congress ,TMC) and supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a program organized to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Bhatpara, West Bengal on Sunday.
Arjun Singh, BJP vice-president of West Bengal unit who was present on the spot told ANI, “Today at 10.30 am, our MLA Pawan Singh Went to pay homage to Netaji, where TMC goons attacked him, fired bullets at him, threw bricks… on my arrival they attacked me too. Everything was happening in front of the police…my car broke down.”
Meanwhile, the police has reached the spot and is investigating the matter.
It is worth mentioning that last year the government had announced on 23 January might day To celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Born on January 23, 1897, Netaji played an important role in India’s independence movement. Subhas Chandra Bose also founded the Azad Hind Fauj.
