The shocking news was announced by none other than Johar himself on his Instagram handle on Wednesday. Taking to his social media and sharing a post, the director-producer wrote in the caption, “Important announcement.”

While for his Instagram post, it read, “Hello! Koffee with Karan has been a part of me and your life, for 6 seasons now. I think we have made an impact and even It has found its place in pop culture. History. And therefore, I am announcing with a heavy heart that Koffee With Karan will not be back. Karan Johar.”

The show which premiered for the first time on TV channel Star World in 2004 ran for six seasons till 2019.
