Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took a jibe at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the concept of a double engine government. Constituency Karnataka and asked how much share each of the two engines got in the “corruption”.
In the video, Rahul Gandhi while addressing the people said, ‘BJP has broken the record of loot in the last three years. The Prime Minister comes but does not utter a single word on corruption. PM talks about double engine government. Must say, how much share has gone into each of the Central and State engines from this corruption”.
“I am sure the wave is in favor of the Congress and we will win not less than 150 seats. I also promise that we will fulfill our five guarantees as soon as we come to power. The BJP looted thousands of crores of rupees from the people of Karnataka, and we will return those thousands of crores to the people.”

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi also said that without getting rid of the loot, lies, arrogance and hatred of the ruling party, Karnataka and the rest of the country cannot progress.
“Don’t you think dacoity has become the business of those in power?” he alleged. You didn’t give them power in 2018 but they looted the government and captured it.
