As of now, if a user wants to forward a sticker to a WhatsApp contact or group chat, he or she has to first save it in the sticker list on the app. It feels like an extra step and it takes time. With the new capability, users will be able to forward whatsapp stickers Without saving it first or seeing the message option to forward the sticker.
As per the report, this feature is currently available for beta testers and those who install the latest WhatsApp – Web release for Android. There is a possibility that the feature could be added for beta testers on iOS as well.
In related news, WaBetaInfo has spotted a new Feedback Information tab that gives more details about the upcoming Message Feedback feature. As per the report, in future WhatsApp users will not only be able to react to a chat message using emoji, they will also be able to see who reacted to the message.
The facility is currently under development. Once available, it will work just like the message reaction feature on Facebook and Instagram. On these platforms, users can react to a message with emoji like hearts and other emojis. WhatsApp groups that have responded to a message using a specific emoji will be listed in a separate tab. Users will be able to react only once on a particular message. Plus, reactions are limited to 6 emoji for now.
