Facebook and its proprietary applications WhatsApp and Instagram are reporting loading issues as many users across the world have complained.
Downdetector showed that over 20,000 people reported issues with Facebook and Instagram.
Meanwhile, social-media giant instant messaging platform WhatsApp was also down for over 14,000 users, while Messenger was down for around 3,000 users.
DownDetector only tracks outages on its platform by combining status reports from a range of sources, including user-submitted errors. An outage can affect a significant number of users.
Facebook has yet to comment on the outage.
