WaBetaInfo is an online platform that tracks new and upcoming features of instant messaging apps. In its report, WaBetaInfo has shared a screenshot that shows the comparison between the old and the new chat bubble and color.
As can be seen in the screenshot, the new chat bubble is bigger than the old one. They are more rounded and come with a new green color. The chat bubbles, as WaBetaInfo says, look “more modern” and are part of other tweaks that WhatsApp is planning to bring to the app.
WhatsApp is bringing emoji for message reaction
WhatsApp is also working on a feature to respond to messages using emoji. Spotted by WaBetaInfo, the feature will be available for both Android and iOS users. Message responses on WhatsApp will be the same as one reacts to received messages iMessage, Twitter, and even FacebookHas its own messenger app. It will allow users to react to messages on WhatsApp using emoji.
Responses to messages in group chats will not be anonymous. According to a report by WaBetaInfo, the people involved in the conversation will be able to see who reacted to a particular message. Also, users will be able to use all the emoji available on WhatsApp to react to a particular message.
