WhatsApp users can now book Uber cabs with just one click, here’s how

As per an assurance from Uber, riders will have access to the same safety features and insurance cover as those who have booked a ride using the Uber app. They will also get driver information and license plate information on booking. They will be able to contact the driver using a masked number and track his whereabouts as he makes his way to the pickup location.

The rider will be informed about safety precautions, including contacting Uber in an emergency via WhatsApp. After selecting the emergency option, the customer will get a call from the customer care team of the cab service.
