WhatsApp’s new feature to allow data transfer on Android; Know details here

New Delhi:Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature – ‘Chat Transfer’, which will allow users to transfer their data from one Android device to another using a local network. According to WABetaInfo, the company will bring the new feature in future updates of the app as it is still in the development stage.

With this feature, users will be able to scan the QR code and transfer the chat history to the new device. The report states that this will eliminate the need for Google Drive, so users will not have to back up their chat data to a cloud service if they want to transfer chats from one device to another. ,Also read: Thinking Of Buying Goods Above Rs 2 Lakh?
