Dubrovnik is banning wheelie suitcases.

The city of Dubrovnik is breathtaking both for its natural beauty and the striking colors and textures of the architecture. Its popularity as a travel destination in Europe is largely due to this.

The city of Dubrovnik attracts millions of tourists every year, making Croatia one of the most beautiful countries in all of Europe.

However, a new policy introduced for this beautiful city has taken the tourists from all over the world by surprise who want to visit this city.

According to New York Post, Dubrovnik residents have complained about noise pollution when tourists drag their suitcases along the city’s famous cobbled and cobbled streets, which they claim keeps them awake at night.

And because of this, Mayor Mato Franković has introduced new rules that will ban tourists from dragging wheeled suitcases along the winding streets in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Tourists who choose to carry their own bags have to pay a hefty fine of $288 (Rs 23630).

This action is a part of the “Respect the City” initiative of the Dubrovnik Tourist Office.

The new portal further mentions that the ban is part of a larger plan to prevent tourists from carrying suitcases into Dubrovnik. According to local reports, from November the local government intends to set up a system where passengers can deposit bags outside the city.

According to dubrovnik times, With 289,000 visitors and 763,500 night stays since the beginning of the year, Dubrovnik remains a very popular tourist destination.

In addition to cobbled streets, the city’s Old Town is famous for its old walls, its sunny climate, and the location of King’s Landing in the hit television series Game of Thrones.
