Addressing actress-host Mandira Bedi’s role as presenter in the inaugural edition, Preity Zinta said, “I must admit that I am very happy to see Mandira Bedi as a presenter in this inaugural edition because WPL has done a lot for women’s cricket. We entered cricket and decided to be a part of IPL. Many congratulations to BCCI especially Jay Shah for this wonderful achievement and best wishes to all the teams of WPL.
