Jaipur: Widows of martyrs of 2019 Pulwama terror attack were allegedly attacked by police personnel in Rajasthan’s Jaipur while they were protesting Ashok GehlotGovernment failed to fulfill the promises
The protesters wanted to meet the Chief Minister regarding their demands but the police did not allow them. Reports said that he was allegedly beaten, dragged and dragged by the police during the protest. Some women protesters were injured during the face-off, while some of them have fallen ill.
The BJP has criticized the Gehlot government in Rajasthan for taking action against the widows of the martyrs of the Pulwama terror attack.
Defending the government, Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas has said that the state government has already given compensation to the families of Pulwama martyrs.
Pratap Singh Khachariawas said, “He has already been compensated… The Rajasthan government has given him the best package compared to any other BJP government.”
Criticizing the saffron party, the Rajasthan minister accused the BJP of vitiating the atmosphere in the state as elections approach and alleged that it has done nothing for the martyrs, adding that the party is only good at publicity.
