Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her MLA-husband Ravi Rana on Monday said they would approach Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to raise the issue of “misbehavior” meted out to them by the Maharashtra government while in jail. will do.

Talking to reporters in Mumbai, Navneet said that she and her husband are going to Delhi today. He will meet all those leaders who respect women.

Navneet Rana, who defeated Shiv Sena’s Anandrao Adsul, said, “I am going to meet the Prime Minister, Home Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker and tell them how we were treated from a lockup to jail. I am going to complain about it.” ” 2019 elections said.

He said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray who has stabbed the BJP in the back, should not talk to the Ranas about principles and teach them.

On May 4, a special court in Mumbai granted bail to the couple. He was arrested by the Mumbai Police on April 23 after he announced to read ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ outside Uddhav’s private residence ‘Matoshree’ in Bandra. This angered Shiv Sena workers, which led to tension in Mumbai and led to their arrest. The Ranas, however, abandoned their plan but were arrested by the police. The police had also charged him with sedition.

Navneet Rana came out of jail on May 5, after which she was admitted to a private hospital in the city. Her lawyer then said that she was complaining of high blood pressure, body ache and spondylitis. He was discharged from the hospital on Sunday.

Navneet Rana calls Sanjay Raut a ‘parrot’

Describing Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut as a ‘parrot’, Navneet Rana alleged that he had talked of ‘burying the couple’. “We had lodged a complaint against it here, but no action was taken. So, I am going to Delhi to raise the issue,” she said.

The Rana family also rejected Shiv Sena’s allegation that they had contempt of court by talking to the media. Notably, the court in its bail order barred the couple from speaking to the press on any subject related to the case.

“We didn’t talk about the crime, how it was registered against us, recited ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and Matoshree. We talked about how I was treated from lockup to jail and how my health issues were avoided. Gaya (ignored),” he said and wondered if a public representative like him could be treated “in this way” in Maharashtra, what would happen to the common people. “So, it was important for me to speak up and the Constitution has given me the right as a people’s representative. No one should take away my rights from me”.

CM Uddhav should learn from Devendra Fadnavis

The MP also said that CM Uddhav Thackeray should learn to run the state from his predecessor and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis.

He said, “Devendra Fadnavis ji also ran the government for five years, but he was not so clever. Thackeray should learn from Devendra sahib that how and in what spirit Maharashtra (government) is run.”
