In a viral video, a group of senior students of a private college in Hyderabad can be seen thrashing another student, Himank Bansal. In the video, the students can be heard allegedly taking revenge on the victim for making derogatory remarks against the Prophet by forcing him to chant “Allah Hu Akbar”. In the video, the students can be heard saying “uski ideo kar kar denge, uske koma mein daal denge”.

According to the victim’s complaint, the incident took place at ICFAI on November 1. Business School, Shankarpally. A case was registered yesterday and acting on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case of criminal intimidation against the accused under sections 307 of ragging, which is attempt to murder and sections 323, 450 and 506 of IPC .
