Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun, gained immense popularity after its release. It was the third film from the South film industry to receive global acclaim after the Baahubali franchise and KGF. Pushpa: The Rule, the second installment of the franchise was also announced. Even though the viewers are already anticipating it, it looks like another surprise is in store from the makers. The makers of Pushpa released a hilarious video on Wednesday. It depicts people hunting Pushpa and questioning her whereabouts. Even though Pushpa’s quest is already thrilling, the caption added more suspense by suggesting a possible third installment.
The tweet read, “Where is Pushpa? Search ends soon! The Hunt before the Rule… Revealed on 7th April at 4.05 pm. The term “hunt before the rule” has suggested that there could be a third part in the works regarding Allu Arjun’s hunt for Pushpa, given that the second part is titled Pushpa: The Rule.
The antagonist in Pushpa was played by renowned actor Fahadh Faasil. He spoke openly about the conversation he had with filmmaker Sukumar in an interview last year. He had said, “When Sukku (Sukumar) first narrated the story to me, Pushpa was only in one film, after the police station scene and my part in the other, then it became two parts. Recently when he spoke to me he said to be ready for Pushpa 3 as he has enough material to do it.
It appears that the plan may come to fruition, and Pushpa 3 may be on the horizon. When Pushpa: The Rise released in December 2021, it became a huge box office success. Given that it was one of the first significant commercial hits after the pandemic, it broke and set several records across India. A sequel is expected later this year.
A special announcement was made on Rashmika Mandanna’s birthday. It will be interesting to see if Part 3 lives up to its potential. The audience will undoubtedly be in for a treat.
