Vishwa Hindu Parishad International Working President Alok Kumar said during the ‘Samvidhan Sankalp Yatra’ in New Delhi on Saturday, “This country will not run on the principles of Sharia but on the basis of the Constitution.”

He assured the people involved in the program that they would come to the temples to offer prayers. ‘Kashi’ And ‘Mathura’ in his lifetime.

“Some anti-national, jihadi forces are trying to disturb the peace and communal harmony of this country. But let me tell them that they will not succeed. I want to tell all individuals and organizations with Islamic mindset and some countries that India will run on the basis of Constitution and not Sharia,” Mr. Kumar said.

He blamed the state government of Rajasthan and the former Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of Maharashtra for the murders of Kanhaiya Lal and Umeh Kolhe. “It was because the governments of these states had consistently ignored the threats that both were killed so mercilessly,” he said.

“We had never decided our action on Kashi and Mathura. But look… the courts of Kashi ordered a survey of the mosque without our intervention. The day the ‘Shivling’ was found in the Kashi Masjid, the Mathura Court also ordered that the Krishna Janmabhoomi incident would continue. This is all God’s will. I can only assure you that we all will get opportunity to worship in Kashi and Mathura in our lifetime. We will get the right to do so,” he said.

The ‘Samvidhan Sankalp Yatra’ ended with the chanting of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ at Jantar Mantar.

“If we are here, how can we go without chanting Hanuman Chalisa,” said Mr. Kumar.
