Alcaraz has enjoyed an incredible outing on clay and hardcourt this season, winning titles in Rio, Miami, Barcelona and Madrid. The 19-year-old, who is still adjusting on the grassy surface, trounced Struff in the second round to meet either Italian Fabio Fognini or Dutch Talon Grixpour.

Meanwhile, Radukanu, who made his center court debut, defeated Alison Van Uytwank 6-4, 6-4. The 2019 US Open champion lived up to expectations in her home slam. She will face France’s Caroline Garcia in the second round.
