Winners of CBSE National Science Exhibition will be nominated for National Children’s Science Exhibition

The theme of the CBSE National Science Exhibition this year was Technology and Toys (Representational image).

A total of 436 winning teams from the regional rounds at 35 venues across the country and abroad (one from Doha) participated in the CBSE National Science Exhibition to be held from February 7 to 9 at Lotus Valley School, Gurugram.

central board of secondary Education (CBSE) organized the science exhibition after a break of two years after Kovid. The exhibition takes place every year at regional and national level to provide a platform to the students to showcase their creativity, innovation and inventiveness. 3169 student teams from across the country registered to participate. The board said that this year the theme of the exhibition was Technology and Toys.

A total of 436 winning teams participated from the regional rounds at 35 venues across the country and abroad (one from Doha). CBSE National Science Exhibition organized from 7th to 9th February at Lotus Valley School, Gurugram. Each exhibition was reviewed by an expert panel of 12 judges from reputed institutions.

Finally a total of 30 exhibits were selected as winners and the teams were awarded a cash prize of Rs.5,000 and a certificate. CBSE said that 14 teams have been awarded in Junior (6-8) and Senior (9-11) categories.

These winning exhibits will be nominated as CBSE entries in the National Children’s Science Exhibition organized by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), and will also get direct entry to participate in the Science Exhibition organized by the Research Institute. and Innovation in Science (IRIS) National Science Fair.

The Board said that the exhibition provides a medium to popularize science and raise awareness among stakeholders about the close relationship between science, technology and society.

Meanwhile, the CBSE Board Exam 2023 for Class 10 & 12 Will start from 15 February. Presently the practical examination or project or internal assessment of both the classes is going on. The practical exams began on January 2 and will end on February 14. The board has also released the admit cards for class 10 and 12 board exams 2023 on the official websites cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
