  • First cut the beetroot and make its puree. In a bowl add gram flour, beetroot puree, red chilli powder, salt and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Now add some fruit salt to the batter. (This will help make the cheela light and fluffy.)
  • Spread a ladleful of batter on the pan and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • After it is done, turn the cheela over and cook it from the other side as well.
