In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that all the targets set in the budget will be met. The Railway Minister said, ‘As far as unemployment is concerned. Provident Fund figures show that about 15 lakh new jobs are created every month. The rapid progress post COVID has helped us generate more jobs. You go on any international platform, the world today understands the digital data of India. These digital figures are on a scale that many developed countries do not have.

Ashwini Vaishnav said in a conversation with NDTV, ‘In the last 8 years, PM Modi has made a big change in the railways with his many documents. Ten years ago, only 4 kilometers of new tracks were built daily in the country. Now that number has increased to 12 kilometers per day. There has been a big change in the work culture of the Railways. The budget that has been given now will improve railway infrastructure, railway rollstock, railway stations, and passenger facilities.

He said, ‘This budget will bring a big change in the railways and rail-related facilities. Railway is working to make 1275 railway stations world class. It also has major railway stations like New Delhi. Medium and small stations are also included in this. The experience of rail passengers in the country changes completely, we are working in that direction.

Asked if enough has been done to tackle the persistent, underemployment, unemployment, he said, “I’m really surprised if that’s saying. During the investigation, when the whole world was grappling with isolation, they It was PM Modi who ensured that 800 crore people got food grains and vaccinations on time. Yes. Isn’t this inclusive development?”


Enumerating the achievements of the government, the Railway Minister said, ‘Imagine the power of Ayushman Bharat, which prevents people from falling back into poverty when there is an illness in the family. When the UPA was in power, India was among the Five Companies companies. In the last 8 years, PM Modi has brought those urban areas to an extreme position.
