OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which was launched in November last year, has attracted a lot of attention around the world. A chatbot is a comprehensive language tool that generates responses to various requests. From working on assignments and writing emails to addressing commonly asked questions, the bot is doing it all and preparing us for new phases of technological evolution. Now, a woman used an AI bot to instruct the airline to write a “polite but passively aggressive and firm” email after a flight was delayed for six hours.
Cheri Luo shared a video on Instagram that shows a quick email composed by a chatbot. “This is the future. Which jobs will be replaced by ChatGPT?” He wrote in the caption of his post.

Soon, the AI bot begins writing emails on Ms. Luo’s behalf expressing “frustration and disappointment”. Interestingly, it addresses every aspect of the request and expresses optimism for future “improvements” in the airline’s handling of flight delays and passengers’ preferences.
Ms Luo shared the clip in December but the video is now going viral on social media. It has been viewed over two million times and has over 54,000 likes. In the comments section, while some users called ChatGPT “awesome”, others called it “brilliant”.

Meanwhile, several chatbots built using artificial intelligence are gaining prominence around the world. While Google recently launched its AI chatbot named Bard, Microsoft released its AI bot named Bing. Chinese web giant Baidu has also got in on the action as it recently announced that its latest chatbot will be released in March.
