A mother recently claimed that her daughter got into trouble because her iPad was at 93% when she reached her school. The parents, known as Selina on Twitter, said she was “outraged” by the school’s decision and asked others on social media if they had heard of “such nonsense”.

Taking to social media, Ms Celina revealed that her daughter was detained because her iPad battery was 93%. She said the assistant head of school expected iPads to be no less than 97% or that pupils would be “punished”. “I’m terrified,” said the mother.

Many social media users were confused as to why the students were reportedly given detention for an iPad with over 90% charge. Some even called such a move “crazy”, “outrageous” and “absolutely funny”.

in another Tweet, the mother said she had emailed the school, saying that her daughter’s iPad being on a 93% charge had “no problems” with her learning and that the device lasted all day. The mother wrote in the email, “I don’t want to be one of those parents who question the police at a school and their behavior, but I’m struggling to understand the logic of this kind of archaic punishment, when technical Apparently he hasn’t done anything wrong here.”
