In a tragic accident at Reddirapalayam on Friday morning, a 43-year-old Anganwadi worker was crushed to death by a private bus on which she was traveling on her motorcycle to her office.
The traffic police has identified the deceased as Rajalakshmi, a resident of Muthirapalayam. The bus hit his two-wheeler from behind. Police said she was thrown on the road and the bus rammed her, killing the woman on the spot.
A case has been registered against the driver of the private bus.
