Won’t quit Shiv Sena or form a new organisation: Baaghi Shinde assures him that he will not have to do so. India News – Times of India

Nashik/Aurangabad/Kolhapur: Rebels Shiv Sena MLA and ministers who have attended Eknath Shinde Camp Told the strong leader of Thane that he will neither leave the party nor form a separate organization. Shinde assured him that he would not have to leave the party and that he would “finally convince” the ‘saheb’ (party chief). Uddhav Thackeray) about their stand, some MLAs told TOI from Guwahati.
Shinde, who already had the support of three ministers, got the support of two more ministers – Gulabrao Patil and Rajendra Patil-Yadravkar – on Wednesday evening. Patil, a Shiv Sena cabinet minister and MLA from Jalgaon Rural, told TOI that all four Shiv Sena MLAs from Jalgaon as well as independents supporting the party have decided to go with Shinde. “I think it is prudent to join hands with Shinde. I still consider Uddhav Thackeray as the head of my party. But in the current situation, when majority of the party MLAs have favored Shinde, we have that. There is no option but to join the group,” he said.
Apart from Jalgaon, the army has also captured another stronghold in Marathwada. Till Wednesday evening, eight of the 12 MLAs from the region had promised support to Shinde. These rebel MLA Shiv Sena was not even ready to leave. Sources told the Times of India that Shinde has assured him that he will continue with the Shiv Sena and that he will convince Matoshree in time.
An MLA said, “We know that Shinde is one of the closest people to Matoshree and the Thackeray family. We have been assured that the differences with the party chief and his family will be resolved within no time of forming the government with the BJP. Will go.”
Shiv Sena MLA from Jalgaon’s Erandol Chimanrao Patil joined the Shinde camp on Wednesday. He said he did not want to comment on Thackeray’s offer to resign as chief minister if the rebel MLAs asked him to. Patil, who is present in Guwahati, said, “He is the boss of our party and is within his right to make a statement. But the party leadership should understand that we want to break ties with the Congress and the NCP as it will harm the Shiv Sena politically.” ”
Independent MLA from Muktainagar, Jalgaon Chandkant Patil said the Shiv Sena should forge an alliance with the BJP as both are “natural allies”. The rebel MLAs admitted that most of them had initially turned down the offer to go with Shinde, as they would have to leave the party and pay the election cost for Thackeray to resign as CM. A Shiv Sena MLA from Marathwada in Assam said, “We understand that if those who voted for us in the name of Shiv Sena conclude that we have stabbed Thackeray in the back, we will have to pay the price.”
