Small settlement of foundation of Kochi Metro Ghat 347 found to be cause of rail misalignment
Plans for permanent renovation of Ghat 347 of Kochi Metro at Pathadipalam, where a settlement Ghat was reported a month ago (after which the trains were running at low speed) have been finalised.
L&T, which was entrusted with the work, will provide additional stacks and carry out necessary mobilization by next week. The work has been planned without affecting normal metro services and will be completed before the onset of monsoon, the Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) said in a release.
