World’s best paneer dishes list revealed: Shahi Paneer third, Paneer Tikka fourth

If there is one ingredient that is loved all over the world, it is paneer. Paneer (cottage cheese) in India is a type of fresh cheese used extensively in many cuisines. Whether you use it to make snacks, curries, salads or sandwiches, it makes for all of them tasty and healthy. Not only this, but paneer is also extremely versatile and adds a rich and creamy texture to food. While paneer is certainly a popular ingredient in Indian cuisine, it has gained popularity in other parts of the world as well. Recently, the popular food guide Taste Atlas released a list of the world’s best cheese dishes in the world. And of course, Indian paneer recipes feature prominently in the list! “These Are the 50 Best-Rated Cheese Dishes in the World! What’s Your Favorite?” Test Atlas wrote in the caption of the post. Racelet took the top spot, followed by Saganaki of Greece. In third place was none other than Shahi Paneer, which interestingly had the same rating as the other runners-up on the list, 4.7. The list includes many famous Indian paneer dishes, with Paneer Tikka being at the fourth position and sharing the same rating of 4.7. Matar Paneer came in at number 24 with a rating of 4.4, while Palak Paneer and Saag Paneer shared the same rating of 4.3 and ranked 30th and 31st respectively. Paneer Makhani also made it to the coveted list by securing the 48th position with a rating of 4.1.

This isn’t the only list Taste Atlas has come out with. Recently, they also shared a list of top 50 pizzas in the world, in which Margherita has topped the list. You can read more about Here, Earlier, the ratings website had also shared a global list of the best cuisines in the world. India ranked fifth in the global list of best cuisines for the year 2022.
