Wrestlers’ sit-in protest against Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Singh at Jantar Mantar continued for the second day on Thursday. Responsible, not ready for anything less than Brij Bhushan’s resignation. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur met the wrestlers on Thursday night and listened to them from Greatites. The Sports Minister has asked the players to wait for Brij Bhushan Singh’s reply. The ministry has given Braj Bhushan Sharan 72 hours to respond on Wednesday. Sports Minister Thakur harmed the strict action after the reply of the wrestlers. Tell me, the wrestlers have made up their mind to fight against these Muslims. They are not ready for anything less than the resignation of Brij Bhushan Singh. He clearly says that Brij Bhushan Singh exists and the wrestling association is dissolved.

Vineshgat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik, some of the country’s top wrestlers sitting on strike, have accused Wrestling Federation of India President (WFI President) Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and coaches of sexual harassment. World championship medalist and Olympian Vinesh claimed that many coaches have also exploited women wrestlers. These wrestlers say that till now we have not received any reply in the matter. So far only damage has been done. No concrete action has been taken. We will not leave this matter until the head of the Sangh is removed and goes to jail. If the government does not take action, we will go to the police.
Udra, BJP MP and WFI President Braj Bhushan Singh has rubbished all the rumours. He said, “All allegations of sexual assault are applicable, and if they are found to be true, I will commit suicide. I tried to contact several wrestlers, including Bajrang Punia, but could not be reached.”
Meanwhile, Indian Olympic Association chief PT Usha on Thursday said that as IOA president, I am discussing the current issue of wrestlers with the members. Everyone’s welfare and well being is the top most priority for all of us. We request the application to forward and keep their queries with us. We will ensure a thorough investigation to ensure justice. Usha said that I have also decided to form a special committee to take immediate action to deal with such notices occurring in future properties.
