YouTube Music testing feature to offer content based on listening behavior

YouTube Music users on the web can now select and play multiple tracks simultaneously.

The music streamer’s web interface now offers the option to select multiple songs in list views.

Tech giant Google-owned music streaming platform YouTube Music has started testing a new feature, Dynamic Queue, that will help queue and receive radio updates based on users’ listening behavior.

According to preliminary reports, Youtube Music The playback queue will change if users switch to a new track during the halfway point of the current song. As reported by 9To5Google, it is not clear whether this feature is enabled by default or not.

The report states that these live updates are an option for the user to be dissatisfied with the current radio and select an entirely different song to create another queue.

It remains to be seen how well this holds up in practice, with a preliminary report saying that YouTube Music chooses when updating already liked/played songs.

The tech giant was also seen testing filters in the Up Next queue for more manual refinement.

Last month, YouTube Music’s web app added a new feature that allows users to more easily manage songs in bulk, especially when adding them to specific playlists.
