Police reached Sri Bhaskar Reddy’s house in Pulivendula in two vehicles and announced his arrest after preparing an arrest memo. Amid tight security, he was immediately taken to Hyderabad to be produced before a CBI court.

A large number of followers and well-wishers of the family gathered at the residence of Mr. Avinash Reddy when they came to know about the development.
CBI officials arranged to shift him to the prison guesthouse in the Central Jail Complex in Cuddapah amid tight security and later shifted him to Hyderabad to be produced before the CBI court.
YSRC cadres demonstrated across the district expressing their displeasure against the arrest and said that Mr. Bhaskar Reddy will come out clean.
Mild tension was observed at the famous Poolangallu Junction in Pulivendula town and shops were closed to avoid possible damage.
