YSR Congress trounces TDP in ZPTC and MPTC elections

VIJAYAWADA YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)’s winning streak continued in the ZPTC elections as it crushed the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and BJP-Jana Sena alliance as per the latest reports. The ruling party is poised for a massive victory in the MPTC elections also due to the latest trends. The total number of ZPTC is 515 and that of MPTC is 7,219.

As far as the ZPTC is concerned, the YSRC won 76 out of 77 seats, according to the results declared at 3 pm, TDP got just one ZPTC, while the BJP and Jana Sena won a vacant seat at that time. did. The number of YSRCs is 29 in Kurnool, 17 in Nellore, 15 in Chittoor, six in Anantapur, four in Visakhapatnam, three in Prakasam and one each in Vizianagaram and Krishna districts. The TDP’s only winning seat was in Visakhapatnam district.

Talking about the performance of the parties in the MPTC elections, YSRC has won 2,902 seats and TDP has won 273 seats. Jana Sena won 12 MPTC, BJP 11, CPI(M) 5 and Congress one.

The highest number of YSRCs was 412 in Anantapur followed by Kurnool 406, Chittoor 376, Visakhapatnam 304, Krishna 299, Nellore 264, Guntur 234, Prakasam 200, Vizianagaram 146, West Godavari 98. 90 in Srikakulam, 66 in Kadapa and seven in East Godavari.
