BJP state president Somu Veeraraju on Sunday said that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) governments have failed to develop the capital city, which was desperately needed after the bifurcation of the state, adding that it has No desired progress has been made. Participating in a workshop organized for the party’s social media members on Sunday, he said, “BJP will progressively highlight these failures of the state governments by highlighting what the central government has done for the state.”

Shri Veeraraju said that irrigation projects like Handri-Niva, Galleru-Nagri and Thotapalli are progressing at snail’s pace and Polavaram project is no exception.

He stressed that despite the Polavaram project being declared a national project long ago, the government has to give an explanation for the delay in the completion of the Polavaram project.

As far as the capital is concerned, Mr. Veeraraju said, the Center is building highways and creating necessary infrastructure.

Participating in the programme, BJP’s national organizational joint general secretary Shiv Prakash said that the opposition parties have done a ‘propaganda’ against the policies of the Centre, and the onus to refute the allegations is the social media core and those representing the party at various forums. on the panelists. .

He regretted that the BJP continued to be portrayed as an anti-Dalit party hostile to minorities and stressed the need to put facts before the people.
