Ace Indian wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal added another one to his cap on Sunday. While bowling against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), he took 4/29 in four overs and achieved a mammoth bowling feat in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The four wickets against Hyderabad helped Chahal equal former Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo’s record for most wickets in the tournament’s history.

The names of both Chahal and Bravo have now become 183-183 wickets. Notably, four Indian spinners figure in the list of top five wicket-takers including Chahal. The others are Piyush Chawla, Amit Mishra and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Chahal has an excellent bowling record in IPL. Since making his debut in 2013, with the Mumbai Indians, the wrist-spinner has played 142 matches and now has 183 wickets in his pocket. It seemed that Samad was caught by Jos Buttler near the long-off boundary but the umpire declared a no-ball. With four runs needed for a win, Samad dispatched Sharma’s delivery for a six to make it 217 for 6 and pull off one of the most improbable wins in the IPL, leaving the RR players perplexed.
