5/29 vs New Zealand in Hamilton – 2002

In 2002, Team India was in a difficult position after being dismissed for just 99 while batting first in the Hamilton Test. India had an unforgettable visit during his tour of New Zealand in 2002-03. However, it was a successful year for Zaheer, who flourished in the country’s swinging conditions. He had bowled many memorable spells in that tour and one of them came in the Wellington Test. 4/59 and 5/75 vs England at Nottingham – 2007

In 2007, Zaheer produced a performance for the ages against England in Nottingham and guided India to a memorable seven-wicket win over the hosts. He took four wickets for 59 runs during England’s first innings. But, that was yet to be completed as he took five for 75 during the home team’s second innings. It was arguably one of the best bowling performances by a flamboyant cricketer, mainly because he did so in England’s overseas conditions.
