His parents are of Indian origin, and he is also married to Indian businessman and fashion designer Akshata Murthy, daughter of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. The Indian origin of the UK PM took to Zomato’s Twitter to question who he would cheer for in the India vs England semi-final using tea as a metaphor. will he root for Indian side, is that ‘spice tea’ – or would he prefer the country he is serving – English tea?
