netflix upcoming movie shooting live-action archies thin crust ArchiesDirected by Zoya Akhtar, has wrapped up its shoot today.
The film is an adaptation of the Archie Comics series and centers around the iconic gang – Archie, Betty, Dilton, Ether, Jughead, Reggie and Veronica. “The film is full of youthful energy, hope and enthusiasm of the swinging 1960s. A musical experience brimming with youth, rebellion, friendship, first love and everything young adult,” reads a press release from the streaming platform.
Zoya directed the film with the script co-written with Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre. The film stars Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda and Vedang Raina in pivotal roles.
Archies It is produced by Zoya and Reema under their Tiger Baby Films banner, in association with Sharad Devarajan’s Graphic India and Archie Comics. An official release date for the film is yet to be announced.
