In terms of design, the overall silhouette of the WagonR remains the same. However, Maruti Suzuki has made some changes to give a fresh look to the car. The WagonR now gets dual-tone paint options on the top-end trim with a black roof and A-pillars, along with a new set of alloy wheels. The new dual-tone color options include Gallant Red with Black roof and Magma Gray with Black roof.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR is being offered in five trim levels – LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi+, and a new Tour H3 variant that has been launched exclusively for the passenger cab segment. The car is being offered with two engine options – a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol unit and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol unit.
