2022 BMW M2: Design
Regarding the design of the 2023 BMW M2, the car features a horizontal kidney grille which is surrounded by two sleek LED headlamps along with LED DRLs. A large air dam and square air intakes have been placed on either side of the front bumper.
The M2 gets massive 20-inch rear wheels and 19-inch front wheels. Moving to the rear, it gets a square back bumper with LED tail lights and a diffuser with quad exhaust tips.
Talking about the dimensions, the 2023 BMW M2 is 219 mm shorter than the M4 – from bumper to bumper – at 4,575 mm – but 114 mm longer than the previous generation M2.
The 2023 BMW M2 will be available in Alpine White, Sapphire Metallic, Brooklyn Gray Metallic, Toronto Red Metallic and a new Zandvoort Blue.
2022 BMW M2: Interior & Features
On the inside, the 2023 M2 sports a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen.
BMW’s iDrive8 software, and M-specific controls.
The car also gets M Sport seats as standard, with M carbon bucket seats available as an option.
2022 BMW M2: Engine and Transmission
The 2023 BMW M2 will be used by the ‘B58’ 3.0-litre straight six – the M3 and M4. This engine generates 460 bhp power and 550 Nm torque. In terms of transmission, the car will be available with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission.
BMW claims that the 2023 M2 does 0-100 in just 4.1 seconds and from there it can accelerate to 200 kmph in 13.5 seconds.
The 2023 BMW M2 will be produced at the brand’s facility in Mexico. When launched, the M2 competes with the Porsche Cayman GTS and Audi TT RS.
Will it come to India?
The 2023 BMW M2 has been revealed for international markets. We expect BMW to introduce the next generation M2 in India sometime in 2023.
