208 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths in Telangana Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana 208 newly registered covid-19 case And there were 2 deaths on Monday, while the number of active cases in the state stood at 4,991, going below the 5000 mark for the first time since the second round of the pandemic. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,63,662 and the death toll stands at 3,906.
A total of 220 patients were declared healthy on Monday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,54,765. NS case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 per cent while the recovery rate is now 98.65 per cent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.8 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic.
On Monday, 45,274 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing 2.58 crore samples and has reached 6.95 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 49 cases on Monday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Constituency 15 cases were registered, Ranga Reddy 9 and Sanga Reddy 4. Outside Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Warangal Urban reported the maximum number of cases with 20 new cases.
