The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Monday refused to lift the stay on three cases where 27 per cent OBC quota was stayed till further orders and posted the matter for further hearing on September 30.

Additional Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta appeared for the MP government, while senior advocates Indira Jai ​​Singh and Abhishek Manu Singhvi appeared for the intervention on behalf of PCC chief Kamal Nath.

Apart from hearing the original 27% OBC quota issue, the HC bench also took up the fresh writ petition filed during the last hearing on the September 2 order of the state government on implementation of 27% OBC quota in examinations and recruitment. hearing which is pending before the court.
