According to the Cachar District Police, the incident is of July 1.
Cachar District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramandeep Kaur told ANI today that, she was kept at the observation home in Mehrpur area of ​​Silchar. “We actually found out, but didn’t report. We are probing it. Most likely we will be able to find them soon,” Kaur said.
A police officer said that he took advantage of the recent flood situation in Silchar and escaped by breaking the observation home wall along with four other children residing in the observation home.
On May 29, the Cachar district police arrested 26 Rohingyas, including 12 children, from the Silchar area.
Rohingyas coming from Jammu and Kashmir reached Kamakhya railway station in Guwahati on the night of 28 May and reached Silchar by road.
